The Virgin Islands accommodates the many moods of vacationing. Whether it be a need to cuddle with that special someone on a moonlit beach or dance the night away to reggae ballads, the Virgin Islands will satisfy you.

The beautiful turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea entrap the islands in a labyrinth of paradise. Beaches outline every corner of the islands. Don’t forget to bring your snorkel and scuba gear while perusing the beaches. Trunk Bay on St. John boasts a world famous snorkeling trail. Parasailing is a major activity at Sapphire beach on St. Thomas. The Atlantis Submarine takes guided tours off the Coast of Buck Island, an historical site off the coast of St. Croix that provides safe nesting for the leatherback turtle. Horseback riding along the St. Croix beaches take couples on a rendezvous fit for Romeo and Juliet.

Beaches are not the only things that will brighten your trip to paradise. Shopping and more shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas will carry on a frenzy that boast what many consider to be the best shopping in the Caribbean. The Paradise Point Tramway will take to a summit of over 400 feet providing a gorgeous view of the St. Thomas harbor. Mountain Top and Drake’s Seat also provide spectacular views of the surrounding islands. Enjoy fine cuisine as you engage in a candlelit dinner at a restaurant on the beach, then party the night away to live bands playing local calypso, soca and reggae music.

A trip to the Virgin Islands without exploring “Love City” St. John would be short of a fairy tale vacation. The Virgin Islands National Park covers over half of the island. Prehistoric hieroglyphics, hiking trails and an outdoor movie theater are the highlights of the park’s attractions. St. John is enchanting as it is beautiful.

Finding things to do in the Virgin Islands will not be a problem on your vacation, but finding time to do it all may take some planning.
